Pergolas Residential
The garden in a new concept, to be lived without interruption with the interior environment. An authentic open-air projection of the domestic living room, overlooking the greenery and a refined swimming pool with a contemporary design.
We find ourselves in the Milanese countryside, where the landscape design studio Frassinago oversaw the design of the exterior of a modern ‘green’ villa. The ambitious project involved the construction of a pool house capable of creating a ‘second home’ with a single elegant structure that would make up for the lack of large windows in the house.
The new environment therefore not only had to allow the use of the garden on hot days and in the case of rain, but also to create a natural extension of the villa, able to fit coherently into the external context. The bioclimatic pergola Opera by Pratic has best interpreted the need for customization, multifunctionality and aesthetics of the project.
For this particular pool house, Frassinago has in fact chosen to use the experience of the Friulian brand, creating four modules side by side and of different sizes, to create a structure on different levels, able to delimit and simultaneously make the various spaces of the outdoor area fluid. Approximately 55.70 square meters that accommodate a raised living room that extends to the edge of the open-air pool; a dining room close to the water and an outdoor kitchen; a storage room and a fully equipped bathroom made from two small modules of Opera, closed on three sides by a particular architectural wall.
This innovative bioclimatic pergola has proved to be the ideal solution combining leisure areas with refined service spaces. Thanks to its aluminium blades that can be rotated up to 140 degrees, Opera allows not only to modulate shading, but also to naturally circulate air within any environment. Each module is also equipped with perimeter LED Line lighting and Spot Lights integrated in the blades of the pergola to allow for use during the evening hours, ensuring greater brightness in enclosed spaces, also equipped with additional lighting. Concealed Zip Raso blinds, for greater privacy and comfort, complete installation.
What makes the flow between interior and exterior even more organic is the coloring of the pergola, created by Pratic’s new zero-impact varnishing system that allows users to choose from over thirty shades or request their own personal shade. In this context, the stone grey created especially for Opera perfectly complements the warm coloring of the villa’s windows and doors, creating a constant dialogue between the shades of the house and the pergola.
An installation that goes beyond the mere creation of an outdoor structure, but aims to evolve the potential of bioclimatic pergolas, inspiring new ways to experience the outdoors.
