Pergolas Contract
There are architectures that are born in harmony with the territory: they fit in almost spontaneously, enhancing the landscape that welcomes them.
The project of La Viarte wine company, in the Eastern hills of Friuli, is an excellent example of how the connection between design and landscape can give life to a refined and charming hospitality experience, conceived to involve all senses.
The winery has been took over in 2012 by the Paduan businessman Alberto Piovan and has undergone an ambitious renewal, curated by Parisotto + Formenton Architects and focused on the needs of high-level enogastronomic tourism.
Elegant lodgings are flanked by a tasting area projected on the scenic horizon of the vineyards, through the elegance and functionality of Vision pergola by Pratic.
The “Salotto nel Vigneto”, created by three side-by-side units of the bioclimatic pergola, offers an open air space of about 50 square meters that coherently prolongs the essential dimensions of the building lying on the hilly skyline. A hybrid environment that with its clean lines creates a unique panorama, which can also be enjoyed from the inner room, thanks to the large glass wall at the entrance.
When the glass wall is open, it eliminates all boundaries between indoor and outdoor, whose continuity is rendered to perfection also through contemporary furnishings, a floor made of porphyry cubes and careful chromatic choices: the “dark chocolate” color of the pergola recalls in fact the brown shade of the tasting area, designed to blend with the natural context.
This carefully designed space also offers incomparable comfort, the result of Pratic bioclimatic technology. Vision modules are equipped with a covering with sun shading blades adjustable up to 140 degrees, whose movement can be operated by remote control to obtain the best conditions of lighting, ventilation and temperature at any time of day and with considerable energy savings. In case of bad weather, instead, it is possible to totally close the blades, in order to screen the area underneath and convey the rainwater inside the gutters hidden in the uprights.
The possibility of adjusting opening and protection thus expands the possible uses of the outdoor space, designed to interact with natural elements and reduce its impact on the landscape and the environment. Vision pergola is in fact made entirely of aluminum and it is designed to be easily separated and recycled at the end of its life. Pratic pays the same attention to the coating processes, which are carried out in a zero-emission plant using only nontoxic and nonpolluting materials. The result is a completely sustainable outdoor experience.
