Pergolas Residential
An essential element of new domestic architecture, the outdoors plays a key role in house planning with dedicated spaces and structures specifically designed to enjoy outdoor environments flexibly and seasonally.
A natural predilection for open-air life, which also characterises a recently built small villa in Cittadella (Padova), where the Opera pergola of Pratic blends in perfectly.
The building has been indeed conceived from the outset to provide a modern bioclimatic covering within the garden: two wide glass-windows expand the living room towards the outside space, equipped with a flooring of 25 square meters and existing anchoring on the facade cladding.
Two side-by-side and wall-fixed modules make the outdoor area elegant and multifunctional. The covering with aluminium sunshade blades, adjustable up to 140 grades, allow lighting, ventilation and temperature to be managed in a natural way, thus providing the best climatic and comfort indoors conditions. Raso drop-down awnings shield the perimeter from sun and wind while ensuring pleasant privacy; meanwhile Spot Lights recessed into the blades create the perfect ambience to be enjoyed also during evening hours.
Realised by the seller ABITEC from Padova, the outdoor project stands out for its refined aesthetics and its modern charm. Opera’s essential lines and volumes match the building architecture until they become an integral part of it: a further room in the house, which stands out for its bold grey colouring in harmony with the doors and windows and contrasting with the light nuances of the masonry.
Another detail, of no less importance, is the integrated home automation system allowing every operation of the pergola to be managed directly by smartphone and even by remote control. Lastly, weather sensors for rain detection activate the automatic opening and closure of the blades for a greater safety against storm damages.
