An ancient farm holding of the XVth century houses the smallest 4-star superior hotel in Merano. It includes thirty rooms, two swimming pools, four whirpools, a spa, a relaxation area, a panoramic terrace, and a large staff. Everything has been designed to satisfy the expectations of each guest. With this aim, a project of deep restoration has been launched and has helped to offer an even higher hospitality standard for the guests. The Gulfer family promises and works hard to offer a holiday of authentic relax and peacefulness. For this reason, hotel spaces have been reorganized and equipped with all comforts.
On the generous size terrace, around 150 square meters, the hotel owners have decided to install six refined clear grey colored Vision bioclimatic pergolas, 134 square meters in total to be comfortably enjoyed regardless of weather conditions. This is a magical place for exclusive use by guests for breakfast and dinner, where they can enjoy a panoramic view on the greenery surrounding the hotel: vineyards, orchards of Merano wide valley and, certainly, the surrounding mountains with their peaks standing out against the sky. The terrace has always been one of the flagships of this small hotel, in a location where nature is untouched thus satisfying the desire of peace and serenity.
In the past, this space benefitted from the shadow of awnings damaged over time. Restoration gave the opportunity for an installation more effective against atmospheric agents. At the same time, the renewed aesthetics of the hotel required more sophistication in order to integrate with classical furniture and landscape.
The Vision pergola has been chosen since it perfectly meets these requirements. A pergola with adjustable blades that is the perfect synthesis between the need to modulate light intensity and shadow and the need to keep ventilation, without moving the design to the background.
