At Salone del Mobile in Milan, Pratic celebrates the tailored design with a “concept-pergola” increasing the versatility of solar shading, so much that it becomes much more than a blank canvas, but a true mirror of ourselves and the world around us.
The outdoor leading company develops indeed the design of the bioclimatic pergola Carrera through an unexpected chrome-plated finish, expressly made for the occasion: profiles and covering become heavenly features, almost weightless, to draw the outdoor space in their own way.
Designed by Marco Viola Studio in collaboration with Pratic, the exhibition “Reflections of You” invites to reflect and be reflected in the bond between man and nature, interior and exterior life, vision and concreteness. The bonding element is precisely Carrera, a symbol of Pratic’s quest for a truly customized outdoor space and, at the same time, its ability to realize it through cutting-edge production techniques in keeping with technology and sustainability.
In Milan, a luminescent architectural set pays homage to the essential design of Farnsworth house, the iconic project by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and raises the concept of “less is more”. Carrera, for the first time, shows up in a reflective and “hanging” version: in visitor’s eyes, a pergola that almost vanishes to become itself the landscape and the person in a constant play of mirrors.
In this shimmering dimension, Carrera’s superior climate and luminous comfort stands out clearly, being the first outdoor roofing with alternate fixed and movable blades, designed to slide along with sun rays. A truly exclusive space, to adjust according to your own desires.
